Paediatric Physiotherapist

 What Your Days Might Look Like

• Delivering 
  functional, play-based therapy
   to infants, children and teens
• Working across 
  homes, schools, day-cares, hydrotherapy
  , and 
  community settings
• Treating a diverse caseload: 
  disability, developmental delay, neurodivergence, complex needs
• Running 
  assessments
   (e.g. musculoskeletal, neurological, postural, respiratory, functional mobility)
• Leading 
  goal-focused programs
   that build confidence, independence, and participation
• Providing 
  family education
  , school support, and 
  interdisciplinary collaboration
• Using your existing experience to 
  mentor younger clinicians
   if you're open to it
• Supporting remote outreach or home visits (with travel support + admin help)

You'll have clinical autonomy with strong professional scaffolding — so you can keep learning while leading.

 What You Bring

• Physiotherapy degree + AHPRA registration
• Strong experience or confidence in paediatric physiotherapy, especially across complex needs
• Familiarity with conditions such as 
  CP, ASD, FASD, chromosomal variations, developmental delay
• Experience with 
  equipment prescription, hydrotherapy
  , and working within the 
  NDIS framework
• Cultural awareness, adaptability, and a collaborative approach
• Confidence working independently in a rural/remote environment — with a supportive team behind you

 Bonus if you have:

• Complex disability, hydro, or assistive tech experience
• Prior rural/remote or Aboriginal health experience
• An interest in shaping service development or supervising others
