Location: Adelaide Family Dental Clinics

Are you an organised, detail-oriented, and compassionate individual with a passion for holistic oral health? If so, we are excited to invite you to apply for our Dental Nurse position. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to become an integral part of our patient- focused team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting dentists with all clinical aspects of patient treatment
  • Preparing and maintaining the dental equipment, instruments, and sterilisation/surgery procedures
  • Providing patient care and support during procedures
  • Taking and processing X-rays
  • Keeping accurate patient records
  • Ensuring the patient's comfort during their visit
  • Assisting with reception duties as required

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate in Dental Nursing or equivalent
  • Working with children check
  • Police check
  • Communicable diseases immunisation certificate
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilisation methods
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive and professional demeanour
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in using dental software for record keeping
  • Current CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in oral surgery, orthodontics, or paediatric dentistry
  • Experience with dental insurance processes
  • Additional certification in dental radiography
