Ganaji Contracting is calling on skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians to join our team on the Pluto Train 2 project in Karratha

Location:

  • Pluto Train 2 – Karratha WA

FIFO Point of Hire

  • Paid flights from all capital cities
  • Points of Hire: Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Darwin, Adelaide, Hobart, Brisbane and Canberra.
  • Roles are also available to Local Karratha residents.

Roster

  • 3 Weeks on – 1 week off
  • Fly home on the morning of day 21 – be paid at ordinary hours and home the same day

Start Date: Available immediately – we're hiring now

Project Hours

  • 68 hour work week
  • Monday to Saturday: 10 hour days
  • Sunday: 8 hour days

Position Overview

  • Instrument calibrations, loop testing/checking, analyzer testing, function testing and troubleshooting instrumentation such as flow, level, temperature, and pressure transmitters.
  • Shut down and control valve testing.
  • Reading, understanding and following P&ID's, data sheets, calibration reports, loop drawings, cause and effects and supplier manuals
  • Use various types of test and calibration equipment

Qualifications

  • Unrestricted Electrical License (Western Australia)
  • Cert III or Cert IV Instrumentation (or equivalent)
  • Cert IV in Hazardous Areas or EEHA
  • Gas Test Atmospheres
  • Provide First Aid (must have been completed within the last 3 years)
  • CPR / LV (must have been completed within the last 12 months)
  • White Card (General Construction Induction Training)

Project Incentives

  • Site Allowance: $5.40 per hour worked
  • Additional Return Pay: complete your full swing, head off on RnR, and when you return, you'll receive an extra 7.2 hours pay
  • Project Incentive Payment: $175 per completed week of service
  • Severance Pay: 2x base hourly rate per completed week of service
  • Weekly pay
