The Role - Senior Taxation Accountant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Taxation Accountant to join our team. Reporting to the Partner, you will manage the compliance needs of a diverse client portfolio while providing expert tax advice and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and lodge tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals
  • Manage BAS, FBT, and payroll tax compliance
  • Ensure adherence to local and international tax regulations
  • Research and resolve client-specific and complex tax issues
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements in line with accounting standards
  • Reconcile tax balances and support financial reporting requirements
  • Build and maintain trusted client relationships
  • Mentor junior team members with technical tax queries

What We're Looking For

  • 4-5 years of taxation accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of taxation law, compliance, and reporting standards
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookups)
  • Experience with Xero (highly regarded)
  • Relevant accounting qualifications
  • Completion of CA studies (preferred)
