The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified Accountant eager to transition into an Accountant role and expand their expertise with end-of-month reporting, tax and systems.

As a Financial Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing end-of-month processes, including posting journals and GL reconciliations
  • Performing bank reconciliations for up to 10 stores
  • Overseeing financial reporting across the group structure
  • Handling group consolidation accounting
  • Managing inventory processes
  • Preparing and submitting GST returns
  • Reviewing systems data integrity to ensure accuracy
  • Liaising with multiple stores to gain a deep understanding of the business
Your Profile:

We are looking for an ambitious accounting professional ready to take the next step in their career. Ideally, you will have:

  • Proven experience as an Assistant Accountant seeking progression into an Accountant role, OR solid bookkeeping experience within SMEs, ready to expand your skill set
  • Commenced, or are working towards, an Associate CPA qualification
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • The ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders
