About the Role

As a Bandit Monitoring Centre Operator, you will play a pivotal role in protecting people, assets, vehicles, and national fleet operations across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Alarm, CCTV & Video Monitoring

    Proactively monitor alarms, live CCTV, AI analytics, and access control systems—responding quickly and accurately.
  • Stolen Vehicle Recovery Operations

    Participate in Australia's first real-time theft recovery program, working closely with police and emergency services.
  • AI Fatigue Management Monitoring

    Support AI-driven fatigue detection for vehicle fleets—an industry-leading safety initiative.
  • Bureau Monitoring

    Manage external company systems and their clients through Bandit's professional monitoring platform.
  • Incident Triage & Coordination

    Communicate effectively with emergency services, clients, technicians, and law enforcement.
  • Inbound & Outbound Communication

    Handle urgent and routine calls across Australia and international markets with professionalism and empathy.
  • Compliance & Documentation

    Maintain accurate records, follow established protocols, and uphold all regulatory standards.

About You

We are seeking professional, reliable, tech-savvy operators who excel in high-performance environments and can confidently operate within a full 24/7 rotating roster.

Essential Skills & Attributes
  • Strong customer service background (retail, call centre, hospitality, corporate service highly valued)
  • Ability to operate multiple screens, systems, and software platforms simultaneously
  • Prior experience in a security monitoring centre or control room
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm, focused, and precise under pressure
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in reporting
  • High computer literacy and the ability to learn new technology quickly
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a cohesive operations team
  • Comfortable working a rotating 24/7 roster

Mandatory Requirements
  • Victorian Security Licence (Monitoring Centre or Control Room preferred)
  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
  • Ability to pass and maintain a clean National Police Check

Highly Regarded
  • Experience with Patriot Systems monitoring software
  • Certificate III in Security Operations (Monitoring & Control Room)
  • Background in alarm/CCTV monitoring or emergency-response environments
  • General knowledge of electronic security systems and terminology
