Maintenance Fitter

This is a permanent, stable position reporting to the Maintenance Manager, focused on maintaining a high-speed, busy manufacturing environment.

You will be the hands-on specialist ensuring smooth, continuous operation of the production lines. Key duties include:

• Executing preventive maintenance and machinery servicing.
• Rapidly attending breakdowns, problem solving, and fault resolution.
• Repair and/or replacement of machinery and parts.
• Driving and contributing to Continuous Improvement Projects.
• Maintaining effective stock control of all relevant consumables.

• A recognised Trade qualification as a Fitter.
• Ideally, 5+ years of previous experience as a maintenance fitter.
• A background in fast-paced FMCG manufacturing is highly desirable.
• The ability to work rotating 2-weekly shifts (day-afternoon-night).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to understand overall production and operational systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organisational skills.
• Highly Desirable: Restricted electrical license.
