Fitter

We are located in Southern Sydney Eastern Suburbs, and have an opportunity in our Botany Access Pty Ltd Service department for a full time fitter.

Hands on position a fitter is responsible for fault finding, maintenance and repairs to engines, hydraulics and electrics on elevated platforms, tele handlers and other hire equipment owned by Botany Access Pty Limited. Duties of the role All Fitter duties for Botany Access, including but not limited to: Attending various sites in the Sydney region depending on business requirements Repairing engines, hydraulics and electrics on range of hire equipment (includes elevated working platforms, tele handlers and forklifts) Reading manuals to ensure accurate specifications for repair and replacement of fabricated machinery parts. Identifying faults, determining fix and repairing mechanical and fluid power equipment Undertaking machines and hydraulics overhauls of identified equipment and machines in line with maintenance planning maintaining accurate records of repair, maintenance and materials audits for jobs. Ordering and coordinating delivery of materials, equipment to site as necessary ensuring all jobs carried out in a professional manner and completed to a high standard. Maintenance and security of all tools of the trade. Comply with all company and regulatory occupational health and safety rules using all machinery in accordance with machinery usage procedures and regulations Training and supervision of Apprentices and other less experienced personnel as required.

**Requirements**:
Trade qualification and a minimum of three years working at skill level

Demonstrated ability to work independently

Professional attitude and commitment to high quality work

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:
