Your new role:

As a Senior Psychologist within the North Continuing Care Team (Adult Community Mental Health), you'll provide advanced clinical services and leadership within a collaborative, recovery-focused environment. You'll be part of a skilled and supportive team, delivering impactful care to consumers and driving improvements in psychological service delivery by:

  • Delivering high-quality, evidence-based psychological assessments, interventions, and evaluations within a multidisciplinary framework.
  • Providing supervision, mentoring, and clinical support to less experienced clinicians, students, and Allied Health Assistants.
  • Contributing to clinical education, service development, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborating effectively with consumers, carers, and interprofessional teams to achieve recovery-oriented outcomes.
  • Leading and participating in service improvement, policy development, and research initiatives.

About you:

To succeed in this role, you'll bring a blend of advanced clinical skills, professional leadership, and compassion for individuals living with mental health challenges. You will demonstrate this through:

  • Extensive experience delivering psychological services to adults with complex mental health needs.
  • Proven ability to manage complex caseloads and apply independent clinical judgement in decision-making.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships with consumers, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience supervising and supporting early-career clinicians and students.
  • A commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and quality improvement.
  • Eligibility for registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA), with relevant postgraduate qualifications and endorsement (if applicable).
