Minprovise is a total solutions provider offering specialist maintenance and shutdown, engineering, fabrication and project services, as well as sustaining capital works backed by a full suite of complimentary equipment and products that offer expert support and services to the mining, oil & gas and construction industries throughout Australia and internationally.
Weare looking for Project Engineer for Full time position with minimum of 1 year expereince.
Salary will be 120,000 to 132,000 depends on experience skill and qualification.
Position: Full time.
Duties and Responsibilities include however are not limited to:
- The Project Engineer is responsible for the end to end technical and commercial execution and management of Minprovise projects and/or shutdowns.
- The role will be predominately office-based; however regular site visits may be required. There may also be a need for weekend coverage (partial or full), should a matter arise.
- To develop proposals for Minprovise customers / potential customers to generate business growth
- Developing scope of works based on information supplied by Client or Minprovise personnel
- To identify and source upcoming projec
- Prepare client presentations for tender submissions
- Visit mine sites to familiarise yourself with the projects and provide presentations associated with the prospective proposals
- Ensure compliance to customer and industry standards, procedures and requirements
- To Interface and consult with key stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Regular micro / macro reporting to internal / external stakeholders.
- Drafting and reviewing Commercial Contracts.
- To facilitate in the sourcing, development and delivery of tenders (including pre-qualifications) which are within Minprovise's scope.
- To provide advice on and assist in the strategic direction of the Business from a technical Engineering viewpoint.
- When required, attend interstate or local meetings as required for
- developing or expanding the Business throughout Australia;
- identifying & sourcing up-and-coming projects;
- client presentations / relationship development;
- tenders; and
- technical consultation, communicating, working and assisting staff members in improving processes, to obtain a higher standard of quality products and service
- Promotion of company beliefs and expectations. Encouraging greater ownership and mentoring subordinates to achieve success.
- Set a personal example by exhibiting a strong, sustained and visible commitment to Company Policy and Initiatives.
- Co‐ordinate, provide and implement, acceptance of Minprovise Policies (available from the Minprovise data base and the client's requirements). Promote a strong culture and a duty of care towards Safety, the Environment and Quality of works.
- Ensure that communication relating to significant Project or Client related matters is maintained with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), Project Managers and other Senior Managers as required; advise on all issues impacting on the efficient progress of projects from a technical and commercial point of view.
- Assist with the review and implementation of administrative and managerial systems to improve efficiency and productivity and decrease costs. Ensure any such work systems are justified, cost effective, useful and relevant to Business needs.
- Ensure that all reporting personnel are actively adhering to the policies and process to provide quality material / works.
- Insist that safe, environmental and quality working practices are always observed and followed. Promote an employee's right to speak up and put forward areas for improvement.
- Assist with the direction, mentoring and review of staff performance under your direct report; provide direction, identify training needs, set objectives and promote a strong team environment.
- Participate in other tasks or duties which are deemed within your skill and competence as required.
