Autobarn is growing and we need Audio and Electrical Fitters, to join our store teams. The right person will drive sales, build the skills of their team mates and drive sales into their own fit bay. We are looking for people who want:

The successful candidate will actively get involved with serving customers, creating solutions, selling product and training the team to create a strong flow of work into their fit bay.

ABOUT THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity to join the Autobarn family in the role of Audio and Accessory Fitter, who will assist with achieving store sales targets & provide high quality installation services. 

The accessory Audio and Accessory Fitter reports to the Store Manager, and tasks include:

• Installing audio electrics other vehicle accessories.
• Installing touring and 4WD accessories
• Providing exceptional customer service.
• Working with team members to help customers get the best from their vehicle.
• Maintaining fitting service appointments.
• Creating a safe and secure working environment.
• Complying with all safe work practices, policies, procedures & instructions.

To be considered you must have at least a valid Certificate II or Certificate III in Automotive Electrical or Automotive Mechanical trades.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate will have:

• Prior accessory fitting/workshop experience.
• Strong communication & people skills.
• A "can-do" attitude from someone who loves to get the job done well.
• Skill in installations of audio electronics.
• Installation of 4wd accessories is also highly regarded.
• Authentic passion for customer service.
• Eagerness to continuously learn, train, and work with the whole team.
