The Role
We are seeking a full-time Litigation Lawyer at Associate, Senior Associate, or Special Counsel level to join our Dispute Resolution Group. You will manage a diverse range of litigation matters, including:
- Agribusiness, commercial, property, and estate disputes
- Drafting and settling court documents and correspondence
- Appearing in court and representing clients in mediations and negotiations
- Advising clients on legal strategy and implementing practical, outcomes-focused solutions
- Managing multiple cases independently while maintaining strong client relationships
The role is ideally based in Toowoomba, but may be performed from any of our other offices, including the option to be based in Brisbane, Toowoomba, Roma, or Townsville and flexibility to consider other Queensland locations by discussion.
What you bring
- Proven experience in litigation, including advice, pleading drafting, and court representation
- Strong negotiation and mediation skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters independently
- Proficiency with legal software and research tools
- Commitment to quality service and professional ethics
- Experience in a full-service law firm environment is beneficial
