Veritus Research is looking for a Clinical Assistants with pathology collection experience and certification at our new state of the art clinical trials facility in Bayswater. We have permanent part-time and full-time positions available at the time of this job posting.
The Clinical Assistant Pathology Collector will play a key role in optimizing efficiency within our 24/7 Clinical Trials Centre by supporting the clinical staff with the smooth day-to-day management of the Clinical Trials Centre. The role is essential for improving the efficiency of Veritus Research and to attain our financial and operational goals.
To be successful in the role you will:
- Be available to work a range of hours including night shifts and weekends
- Assist with study specific beverage and/or meals to patients as required
- Foot transportation of patient related materials including patient files and specimens between buildings
- Perform clinical tasks as directed including vital signs, electrocardiogram and other assessments as required
- Perform blood collection
- Assist the Nursing staff in completing time-specific trial activities
- Assisting the Nursing staff in completing clinical forms and documentation
- Ad hoc cleaning services
- Other tasks under the direction of the Clinical Trial Centre Manager

Professional Background
- Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection required
- Previous clinical experience and clinical data entry in a similar role will be highly regarded
- Australian citizen or permanent Australian Resident
