As a result of work in hand coupled with a strong pipeline of projects, we are interested in engaging with experienced Heavy Lift Engineers and Specialists for an upcoming Sydney-based opportunity within our national Construction Engineering group.

Working at John Holland:

You will have a multitude of opportunities to work on some of the largest and most complex construction projects that are being delivered in Australia today.

John Holland's Lift & Shift team provides full lifecycle support to precontract and project delivery teams across all aspects of lift and shift, including cranes, rigging, heavy haulage and specialised heavy lift/shift equipment.

With a focus on developing tailored and cost-effective solutions, the Lift & Shift team supports John Holland's construction teams to optimise construction methods, including equipment selection, and ensure compliance requirements are met.

The team draws on its extensive experience across many industry sectors and extensive library of construction methods to provide onsite and offsite support.

About You:

A Heavy Lift Engineer or Heavy Lift Specialist position with John Holland will require you to either hold a degree qualification in Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering, or a High-Risk Work Licence in Rigging or Cranes, together with proven experience and technical competency in planning and delivering lift and shift operations.

Proficiency in using AutoCAD & Crane Specialist Software for preparing Lift/Transport plan/s, along with the ability to nurture client relationships and utilise your excellent stakeholder management skills is also essential.
