ELIoT Energy, an Australian startup, develops smart battery solutions for cooling appliances. We're growing our team and seeking a passionate Postgraduate Intern (Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Design).

About the Role

As an intern, you will play a key role in the **design and development of next-generation energy storage systems**. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape products that drive sustainability and impact global energy use.

Responsibilities

  • 3D modelling (Solid Edge) of electrical appliances and prototype components

  • Design for manufacturing (DFM) and product optimisation

  • 3D printing and rapid prototyping of parts

  • Collaborating with electrical engineers to integrate electro-mechanical systems

  • Supporting prototyping, testing, and iteration cycles

What We're Looking For

  • Postgraduate student or recent graduate in
    Mechanical Engineering
    or
    Industrial Design

  • Strong CAD/3D modelling skills

  • Familiarity with 3D printing and rapid prototyping tools

  • Interest in
    clean energy, sustainability, and product innovation

  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
