Your impact as an Early Childhood Teacher

In this role, you will:

  • Design and implement educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Queensland kindergarten learning guidelines  (QKLG) creating opportunities for each child to thrive
  • Lead, guide, and mentor educators within your team to inspire best practice and continuous improvement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the broader community
  • Champion child safety, wellbeing, and inclusion in every aspect of practice
  • Support the assessment and planning cycle, ensuring reflective, intentional, and child-centred curriculum decisions
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, policies, and the National Quality Standard to uphold excellence in service delivery
  • Collaborate on the centre's Quality Improvement Plan, contributing your knowledge and passion to achieve meaningful outcomes
What you will bring
  • Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood, Birth to 5)
  • Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Up-to-date First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis training
  • Accredited Child Protection Training
  • Sound knowledge of the EYLF, National Quality Framework, and relevant regulations
  • Confidence in leading educational practice and mentoring others
  • Warm, authentic communication style with a commitment to equity and respect
  • A genuine desire to create safe, inclusive, and empowering learning environments for every child
