About the Role

We're looking for a creative and motivated Marketing & Communications Assistant to take the lead on our marketing activities at MV Solar. You'll get hands-on experience managing our social media (Facebook, Instagram, and possibly TikTok), creating email campaigns, planning content calendars, and sitting in on creative projects like radio ads and local marketing initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone confident on a computer, curious to try new things, and ready to bring a fresh, engaging spin to how MV Solar shows up online and in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and create content for our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, and possibly TikTok).
  • Plan and schedule content that helps MV Solar connect with real people, not just industry audiences.
  • Assist with email campaigns and newsletters to keep customers informed and engaged.
  • Capture photos or videos and turn them into engaging content.
  • Sit in on creative projects such as radio ads and local marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute ideas to campaign planning and see them through to execution.

Selection Criteria

  • Able to share ideas confidently and work as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and presentation.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
  • Organised and able to manage tasks from planning to completion.

Desirable:

  • Basic video editing skills.

Pay rate to be advised

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $24.95 per hour
