We are a metal fabrication business based in North Brisbane, we have a focus on building and strengthening relationships with our customers, suppliers and the community.

We provide all fabrication needs from new truck body builds and old truck body repairs to smaller custom projects.

We pride ourselves on our ability to handle all project — no matter the size — with precision, safety and experience.

The Role

We are currently looking for qualified boilermakers or Motor Coach Body Builders, Certificate 3 in Engineering for immediate start, within our workshop located in Brendale. (North Brisbane)

This is a fulltime position, Monday to Friday with overtime available most days and some Saturdays.

The applicant must be reliable and punctual, have their own tools and transport.

Job tasks and responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • You will be responsible for general fabrication, maintenance and repair
  • Truck and trailer modifications and repairs
  • Aluminium and steel fabrication
  • Custom truck trays
  • Install custom truck tow bars
  • Installing and/or modifying 5th Wheel Hitch's
  • The roles and responsibilities will be varied depending on the work coming in.

As the successful candidate you will possess the following:

  • Australian recognised Boilermaker / Fabrication or Motor Coach Body Builder trade qualification / Certificate 3 in Engineering.
  • Recent, relevant experience in a similar environment
  • A strong attention to detail
  • An ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated.
  • Desire to work in a team environment and as part of a team
  • High level communications and interpersonal skills
  • High level problem solving skills
  • Ability and willingness to further their knowledge and skills with additional training
  • Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Availability for overtime and some weekend overtime work
  • C Class driver's license (Manual desirable)
  • Truck drivers license (Desirable)
  • Forklift licence (Desirable)
  • First aid training and a good understanding of OH&S (Desirable)
