The Opportunity

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital. From patient rooms to shared spaces, your work will ensure our clinic remains a safe and supportive environment for recovery and care.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning patient rooms, common areas, and hospital facilities to a high standard.
  • Making patient beds and distributing linen.
  • Cleaning, restocking, and safely storing equipment.
  • Working collaboratively with your team to achieve shared goals.
  • Communicating effectively with nursing staff and colleagues.

About You

You are reliable, motivated, and take pride in delivering excellent housekeeping services. With a strong work ethic and a positive, "can do" attitude, you enjoy working as part of a team while also being able to manage tasks independently.

You will bring:

  • Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role (minimum 2 years highly regarded).
  • Experience in a healthcare or hospital setting (highly regarded).
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to also work independently.
  • A professional and respectful approach when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable nature.

Remuneration: Base Hourly Rates in accordance with Enterprise Agreement + Casual Loading + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
