Our esteemed client in Australia is actively seeking experienced and passionate Secondary School Teachers to join their educational team. Ideal candidates will have a deep knowledge of their subject area, strong teaching skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.

 

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in secondary education.
  • Provide evidence of qualifications, work history, a valid passport, and police clearances.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing regular feedback and support to help them succeed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the school community to enhance the educational experience.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated with educational best practices.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and other relevant information.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in secondary teaching.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in education or a specific subject area.
  • Strong understanding of secondary education curriculum and teaching methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Proficiency in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Physical stamina to manage classroom activities and extra-curricular supervision.
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, to ensure effective communication.
