Heavy Diesel Mechanic – Newcastle Based

$115,000 – $130,000 + Super

We are a well established heavy vehicle workshop based in Newcastle, proudly operating for over 20 years. We are currently seeking a Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our busy team.

This is an excellent opportunity for either a trade qualified mechanic or someone nearing completion of their apprenticeship who is looking to step into a rewarding long term career.


What We Offer
  • Highly competitive salary: $115,000 – $130,000 + super
  • Uncapped overtime
  • 6 weeks paid leave each year (+ personal leave as per the NES)

What You'll Need
  • Current driver's licence
  • Relevant trade qualification (or near completion of apprenticeship)
  • Solid written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Troubleshooting & problem solving skills

Desirable (Not Essential)
  • Heavy vehicle driver's licence
  • Confined space training
  • Working at heights certification
  • Experience with diagnostic software
