Senior Associate Adviser – Financial Planning | Melbourne CBD

The Role

We are looking for a confident and capable Senior Associate Adviser to support the delivery of tailored advice to a loyal base of high-quality clients. Working closely with a team of experienced Advisers, this role is ideal for someone who brings technical expertise, initiative, and a proactive approach to client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end advice process, from strategy discussions through to implementation
  • Prepare advice documentation in line with compliance requirements and firm standards
  • Liaise directly with clients, responding to queries and maintaining ongoing relationships
  • Conduct research and modelling to support strategy development
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless client experience
  • Stay across evolving regulatory and product changes relevant to client advice

About You

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in financial planning, para-planning, or Associate Adviser roles
  • Completed or progressing towards relevant qualifications (e.g. Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning)
  • Strong understanding of advice production, compliance, and client engagement
  • Confident communicator with a client-centric mindset and attention to detail
  • Proficient in financial planning software (e.g. Xplan) and Microsoft Office
  • Ideally on the pathway to or completing the Professional Year (PY), or already authorised under supervision
