Our play-centred program, Play2Learn, supports families and young children across Australia, helping children to develop their social skills, independence and capacity to learn. We need you to work closely with families in the Greater Shepparton area, to help enable a smooth transition into the next phase of Early Learning.

In this part time, maximum term position (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 7.6 hours per day, through to July 2026 with potential for extension), you'll be a key member of our Play2Learn team in the Greater Shepparton area and will report to our Team Leader.
You will make a difference by:
Delivering group-based programs through supported playgroups Providing parent coaching with families, using partnership, outcomes based, strengths' perspective and client-centred approaches Identifying where additional assistance and external services are required, providing appropriate information, support and referrals Promoting positive and culturally respectful approaches to parenting, and child and family wellbeing Ensuring that children are developmentally on track and families have the skills and tools to parent effectivelyA place to feel valued:
Your expertise in family support, early childhood development and early intervention will be invaluable. You're a team player and value collaborating and innovating in a team, and you're proactive, creative and flexible in your work. Importantly, you understand the importance of working with families and children driven by a trauma-informed, strengths-based and culturally sensitive approach.
This role requires:
Demonstrated skills, knowledge, understanding and experience in group facilitation and engagement, particularly with at-risk families and children aged 0-5 yearsExperience delivering family support and interventionsKnowledge of best practices in effective parenting strategies and behaviour management techniquesDegree/Diploma qualification in a relevant field such as Psychology, Early Childhood, Social Work, Human Services or Social Sciences, or significant equivalent experienceA place to belong:
