Job Title: Senior Wintel Engineer Location: ACT

Clearance: NV1 Clearance

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Wintel Engineer with a strong background in designing, implementing, and supporting complex enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of hands-on experience and the ability to work independently within hybrid or remote teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and deliver solutions across enterprise systems.
  • Design, implement, and remediate one or more of the following:
  • Microsoft Active Directory
  • Networking, including Gateway or Software-Defined Networking
  • Cross Domain Solutions and/or Diodes
  • Security tools such as Sentinel or Splunk
  • Enterprise Linux/Unix environments (e.g., RHEL)
  • Cloud platforms (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) on Azure, AWS, GCP, or similar
  • Complex Windows Enterprise Environments
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior executives.
  • Provide direction and clarity to team members, aligning tasks with strategic objectives.
  • Illustrate the link between operational activities and organisational goals.

Skills & Attributes

  • Minimum 7 years' experience as a Wintel Engineer.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in hybrid/remote settings.
  • Leadership capability to set tasks and communicate expected outcomes.
