About the opportunity
Agile Mining Services are seeking an experienced Mine Geologist to join the Technical Services Team as part of the complete operation, from geology through planning to Port.
This role is currently based at our Buzzard Mine site, however, may be required to work or be based at another site or operation. This opportunity offers exposure to a dynamic and forward-thinking environment in the mining industry. Use this role to utilise and expand your technical skills, it's a career builder opportunity.
What the role offers
The Mine Geologist will be responsible for managing the grade control, data collection, data entry and logging, and ROM management. You will be proactive in continually improving the systems and processes in all areas to ensure the quality of the ore being produced.

This is a permanent FIFO role, working an 16/12 roster.
Essential requirements
- Minimum 5 years open pit mining experience, iron ore would be advantageous
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Geology
- Highly developed computing skills including MS Office
- Current "C" Class Australian drivers' licence
- Commitment to safety in the workplace
- Passion for continuous improvement

Pre-employment
