Farm Foods is a Geelong based food manufacturing business, specialising in valued added meat products. (eg Sausages, Hamburgers, Meatballs & Kebabs etc) From humble origins back in 2003 the business commenced as a butcher shop in the small country town of Birregurra. Now some 20 years later, the business has grown to become one of Australia's leading meat manufacturers of private label products to Australia's major supermarkets.
We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to aid in leading a small finance team. Farm Foods has experienced significant growth in recent years, and this position will play an integral role in continued business expansion.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the financial accountant will action and implement a variety of financial functions for the business. These include the end of month close, encompassing reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts, review of profit & loss accounts and cashflow reporting. The role is also responsible for performing cost analysis, assisting with preparation of the annual budget, weekly payroll and related state & federal tax requirements (GST, PAYG, Workcover etc).

About You
- CPA or CA qualified
- Experienced in Financial Management
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience in Oracle NetSuite & XERO
- Sound knowledge & proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Management & Board reporting experience
- High degree of accountability and high attention to detail
