Financial Controller APAC

The role of the Financial Controller APAC – Drilling Products is to oversee the financial operations across the APAC (Asia-Pacific) region where you will manage financial reporting, support strategic decision-making to drive business growth, and ensure a strong focus on compliance with local accounting standards and regulations.

Want to know a little more about the role? Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Reporting and Analysis:

· Work with the FP&A team to prepare and present accurate financial reports to senior management.

· Collaborate with regional teams to ensure timely month-end and year-end closings.

Financial Management:

· Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for APAC regions.

· Ensure compliance with local tax laws, accounting standards, and corporate policies.

· Manage cash flow and working capital to optimize financial performance.

Compliance and Risk Management:

· Ensure adherence to internal controls and corporate governance standards.

· Manage audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

· Identify and mitigate financial risks across the region.

Leadership:

• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across the finance function.

• Provide guidance and support to finance professionals across multiple locations through dotted-line and direct relationships, ensuring alignment of goals and consistency of financial practices.

A few other things we're looking for:

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required (Master's preferred)

· Min. 5-7 years of experience within management roles in Finance and/or Controlling.

· Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is highly desirable.

· Strong knowledge of local accounting standards.

· Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

· Advanced proficiency with ERP systems and financial software will be a plus.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
