About The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Events Manager or Events Executive to join our national events team on a 12-month contract based in our Sydney office. This role will support the delivery of firm-wide and client events, sponsorship activations and internal initiatives, working closely with partners, lawyers and the broader Business Development team.
Reporting to the Senior Events Manager, you'll collaborate with colleagues across our offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth to deliver seamless, high-quality events that reflect G+T's brand and values.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and deliver client events, seminars, sponsorship activations and internal firm events in Sydney, ensuring a high standard of execution and client experience
- Collaborate with partners, lawyers and the national Business Development team to design and implement events that support G+T's strategic objectives
- Manage event logistics including venue selection, supplier coordination, catering, invitations, registrations and on-the-day delivery
- Work closely with the Melbourne and Perth Events team to ensure a consistent national approach to event strategy and delivery
- Monitor event outcomes and provide post-event reporting and analysis to inform future planning
- Maintain accurate records of event spend, ensuring activities are delivered within budget and aligned with resource allocations
- Support the Senior Events Manager and broader Business Development team on firm-wide initiatives and campaigns
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by sharing best practice and innovative ideas across the national team
About You
You will be an experienced events professional with a strong track record in delivering high-quality corporate or professional services events. You will have exceptional organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key attributes and experience include:
- Previous experience in event management, within a corporate or professional services environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective relationships with partners, lawyers and external suppliers
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end event delivery
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and event management tools (e.g. online invitation and registration platforms, CRM systems, virtual event technology)
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a national team
- Flexibility, initiative and a solutions-focused approach to challenges
