The Opportunity

We are currently calling for Drill Fitters with hands-on experience working on Epiroc, CAT and Sandvik drill rigs to across WA mine sites, servicing, fault finding and commissioning on OEM drill rigs. You'll work with a tight-knit team maintaining CAT, Sandvik and Epiroc production drills in a safe, well-supported environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out maintenance and servicing on production drills: CAT MD6250, Epiroc D65, and Sandvik Leopard D1650i.
  • Diagnose faults, complete repairs and component changes, and keep accurate service records.
  • Contribute to a proactive safety culture and support continuous improvement in the field.

About You:

  • 5+ years' experience working on at least two of the three rigs on site (CAT MD6250 / Epiroc D65 / Sandvik Leopard D1650i).
  • Experience in fault finding & breakdowns
  • Strong team player with great communication
  • Commitment to safety and Indigenous values
  • Trade-qualified Diesel Mechanic (or equivalent heavy diesel/mechanical trade).
  • Current Working at Heights.
  • Forklift (LF) licence.
  • Valid Driver's Licence.
  • Rio Tinto (RTIO) inducted – highly desirable.
