Vivid Optical is a proudly independent practice that's been at the heart of Launceston's community for over 100 years. Known for clinical excellence and personalised service, we're passionate about providing outstanding eye care—with a touch of style. We love what we do, and we're looking for someone who'll love coming to work just as much.

You'll be an important part of our friendly team, supporting patients and ensuring a smooth, professional, and stylish experience every step of the way.

We have flexible options to join the team 3-4 days per week including a Saturday morning 9am- 12pm

What You'll Do

  • Provide outstanding, friendly service to all patients and visitors
  • Use your fashion sense to help patients choose frames that suit their style and needs
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest in eyewear trends, lenses, and accessories
  • Assist with optical workshop procedures including adjustments, repairs and quality control
  • Keep the practice looking tidy, polished, and welcoming

About You

  • A team player with a bright, positive attitude
  • Confident communicator with a passion for helping people
  • Retail or optical customer service experience is ideal
  • Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing is a bonus, but not essential
