Senior Insurance Account Manager

The Role

We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Senior Insurance Account Manager in our Government Insurance Division.

This role offers the chance to lead a team of Insurance Account Managers while building strong relationships and delivering expert insurance advice to a portfolio of large and complex government agencies. It's a great opportunity to make an impact, enhance client experiences and contribute to meaningful public service.

The Person

You will align with our values and have the capability to:

• Apply contemporary practices in commercial insurance, client servicing, and providing commercial insurance advice with knowledge of the relevant principles and practices of risk management, injury management and/or claims management;
• Work with a customer service focus with proven ability to work in partnership with clients, establish relationships, anticipate client needs and develop tailored service plans;
• Effectively lead, coordinate and direct a team that exhibits a constructive and collaborative working environment characterised by diversity and tolerance;
• Empower, motivate and develop people in a climate of organisational change; and
• Establish networks and effectively communicate with a diverse range of people using verbal, written and presentation skills.

You will receive ongoing training, coaching and mentoring to enhance your skills.

The Insurance Commission is a State owned Government Trading Enterprise that provides motor injury insurance to 2.7 million Western Australian motorists and manages the self-insurance arrangements of the Western Australian Government.

Appointment Information

In addition to the immediately available position, appointments may be made from this process within a twelve month period to similar positions that may be permanent or contract, including fixed term appointments with the possibility of extension or subsequent permanency.
