Due to the significant increase in the construction of new infrastructure projects across New South Wales and Australia, Brix Projects is actively seeking experienced Civil Excavator Operators to join our dynamic team within the Sydney region.

As a Civil Excavator Operator with Brix Projects, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of various high-profile infrastructure projects. Your expertise will be essential in operating excavators with precision and efficiency to meet project requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Proficiency in Operating Excavators: You should be confident in operating excavators ranging from 1.8 to 50 tonnes, handling various excavation tasks with skill and accuracy.
  • Minimum of 5 Years of Experience: We are looking for candidates with at least five years of hands-on experience in excavator operation within the civil construction sector.
  • SOA and VOC Certification: A Statement of Attainment (SOA) and Verification of Competency (VOC) are required to validate your skills and qualifications.
  • Final Trim Experience: Proven experience in final trim work is essential for delivering precise and high-quality results.
  • Experience with Trenching and Existing Services: You must have a strong background in trenching and working around existing services, ensuring safety and adherence to project specifications.
  • Team Collaboration: The ability to work effectively as part of a team and assist with other duties as needed is important for ensuring project success and fostering a collaborative work environment.
