Join our dynamic National Student Engagement Team as a Graduate and Applications Coordinator. In this role, you'll be responsible for graduation documentation and is also responsible for receipt and initial collation of special circumstances applications and appeals, show cause applications and formal student complaints. This role is part of a team which takes an integrated approach to support student engagement and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulatory environment including HEIMS, ESOS Act, National Code, and any other regulatory frameworks that may apply.
  • Ensure compliance with specific requirement of professional accreditation bodies in Psychology, Counselling and Social Work or other as required.
  • Compile and process Graduation reporting, ensuring eligible students are assessed as having completed their courses, approved by the Academic Board and subsequently included in the Graduation Ceremonies.
  • Production of testamurs, and statement of results required as part of the Graduation process, as well as ad hoc when requested by students.
  • Process Show Cause applications and corresponding communications
  • Process Special Circumstances applications and Formal Complaints and corresponding communications
  • Apply policies and procedures to provide accurate, timely advice.
Qualifications

In addition to a student-first approach, it is essential you can demonstrate:

  • You put the student first and it is demonstrated. You create an environment which supports excellent student experiences.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (for example Communication, Management, Business or Social Science) or equivalent experience
  • Practical experience in a service and student facing role within a tertiary education environment or similar distributed service environment
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to consult and liaise with a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds
  • Demonstrated ability to relate well to students, liaise with staff within the Colleges and external stakeholders
  • Experience with My eQuals will be considered an advantage, but is not essential
