We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bar Manager to lead our hospitality operations and ensure an outstanding guest experience.

The Role:

The Bar Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the brewery's front-of-house and back-of-house operations, including bar and kitchen management, customer service, staff supervision, brewing management and event coordination. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for craft beer.

Key Responsibilities and Skills:

• Oversee daily venue operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.

• Lead, train, and manage staff, fostering a positive and high-performing team culture.

• Maintain excellent customer service standards and handle customer enquiries or concerns.

• Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships for bar, kitchen and brewing operations.

• Coordinate events, tastings, and promotions to enhance customer engagement and drive sales.

• Managing and booking food trucks

• Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and responsible service of alcohol (RSA) requirements.

• Work closely with the brewing team to promote new and seasonal beer releases.

• Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and improve the overall customer experience.

• Monitor financial performance, including budgets, sales targets, and cost control.

• Oversee venue maintenance and cleanliness, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for guests.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in hospitality or management.

• Proven leadership and team management experience.

• RMLV certificate

• Approved Managers licence would be advantageous but not essential

• Strong knowledge of bar and restaurant operations, including stock management and service standards.

• Passion for craft beer, with knowledge of beer styles and brewing processes a plus.

• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification

• Experience in event planning and promotions is highly desirable.
