Position Available: Full Time Quarry Laboratory Technician – Yabba Quarry

Mawsons is a family-run business that produces quality construction materials throughout Northern Victoria and Southern N.S.W.  Across these regions, Mawsons are prominent players with over 500 employees across 80 sites. Trading also as Milbrae and Country Concrete, with a history spanning over 110 years and Adbri as a Joint Venture Partner, Mawsons are very well established and highly regarded.

We seek a motivated and responsible person to fill this full-time position in our NATA certified laboratory at our Yabba Quarry.  This position is responsible for effectively conducting quality testing and control of quarry products, ensuring product & quality standards are met.

Duties include:


•  Collecting/testing of quarry materials


•  Co-ordination of lab processes and operations


•  Generating reports/information of lab results


•  Conduct quality control testing of quarry materials


•  Compile, check and input daily test results, data entry


•  Assist with internal quality auditing


•  Maintain laboratory equipment and calibrations


•  Clerical support to 2IC and Quarry Manager


•  General quarry duties as required
