About the role
We are seeking a dedicated House Supervisor to lead one of our youth residential care homes, supporting children and young people with complex needs. In this vital role, you'll oversee daily care, guide a team of residential care workers, and help create a safe, therapeutic environment where young people can feel supported.

This is a Full-time (38hr per week) opportunity based in Geelong (Barwon region) within our Out-Of-Home Care Program. This position reports to the residential coordinator.
Key Selection Criteria:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential and Out of Home Care or other similar or relevant tertiary qualifications or a commitment to enrolling into course.)
- A genuine interest in Young People and their wellbeing.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage well with Young People
- Ability to work collaboratively with other staff and professionals.
- A demonstrated understanding of, and respect for cultural and linguistic background including a commitment to cultural safety.

Requirements:
- Valid and current Driver's Licence;
- Satisfactory Criminal History Check (paid for by MacKillop);
- Valid Employee Working with Children Check;
- Valid and current NDIS Workers Screening Check (MacKillop can assist successful candidates with their application).
