Our Ballina timber yard has an opportunity available for a Yard Team Member to join our team.

In this role you will perform a variety of duties associated with picking and preparing orders, serving customers and ensuring the yard is neat and presentable.

Day to day tasks:

  • Providing Great Customers service
  • Selecting / Pick timber orders
  • Packaging / strapping orders
  • Computer use
  • Manual handling
  • Assist with timber finishing orders
  • Learning to set up machines
  • Problem solving and helping customers select appropriate timber products for their projects
  • Assist with loading orders for deliveries
  • Quality and stock control
  • Maintaining a clean workplace and ensure yard is neat and tidy
  • Not limited to these task

We are looking for?

  • Someone Motivated and enthusiastic with a 'can do' attitude
  • Fit and able to lift yard materials
  • Timber knowledge an asset but open to someone who is willing to learn
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management
  • Good communication skills
  • Current drivers license
  • Forklift licence or willing to obtain
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Someone looking for long-term commitment
