Caregiva is offering a fulfilling career opportunity in disability care. We are seeking dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our growing Supported Independent Living (SIL) team and Community Access Team in the Toowoomba region.

Caregiva provides a range of in-home and community-based support services for individuals with disabilities up to 65 years old, focusing on participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping participants lead fulfilling and meaningful lives within the community. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care and domestic duties

Supporting skill development activities

Administering medication

Facilitating social and community participation

About You, We are looking for individuals with:

Excellent interpersonal skills

Experience in mental health care and managing complex behaviours

A solid understanding of NDIS requirements

Part-Time / Casual Work

Requirements You must have (or be willing to obtain) the following:

Availability for Shift Work including Sleepovers (Required)

Certificate III or IV in Disability or an equivalent qualification (completed or in progress)

Ability to follow the Positive Behaviour Support Plan (PBSP)

Ability to support participants in the Toowoomba region

Current CPR and First Aid Certificates

National Police Check with no convictions

Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check/Yellow Card (Required)

Valid Australian Driver's Licence

Working with Children Check / Blue Card

Work Hours Requirement: Available for Shift Work

Shift Times:

Flexible Day Shifts, Evening Shifts including Sleepover
