For best cultural fit, you will undertake a diligent and a pragmatic approach towards ensuring our clients and operational teams operate safely, whilst fostering a culture for safety, quality and the environment. Your integration on both the front and back end of the business is fundamental, and you must have the ability to be both proactive and reactive to meet demands and timeframes, even competing ones. Our systems are in place, we are looking for someone to integrate with us, learn us, and work with us into future growth for the long-term.With a genuine value for communication and people, you will liaise with key stakeholders to:Frequently have a presence at each of our locations, and, on an as needs basis, with our clientsBecome immersed and build knowledge regarding our industry, services and operationsCarry out site visits / inspections and depot auditsManage incident investigations in collaboration with the corresponding relevant state regulatorContribute to tenders submissions regarding HSEQ content, and manage client pre-qualsManage HSEQ management systems, policies, procedures as well as SWMS, risk assessments, VOC's and toolbox contentManage incident reporting, investigation, and corrective actionsLiaise with insurers and EPA for annual reporting and reviewManage workers' compensation for injury, rehabilitation, and claims managementProactively assess and measure our safety analytics to lead process improvement and awarenessSkills, Attributes and ExperienceCertificate IV in Work Health and Safety minimumSolid understanding of safety systems, standards, and ISO requirementsExperience working with HSEQ systems and compliance monitoringIncident investigation qualifications beneficialProficiency in risk assessment and root cause analysisBackground in construction, manufacturing or oil & gas desirableSound written and verbal communication skills for dealing with internal and external stakeholdersStrong analytical and organisation skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office and be adaptable to various client software systemsProactive self-starter, able to work independently and collaborativelyValid C-Class Australian driver's license or equivalent; a truck licence is advantageousWhilst we are looking for a candidate who resides in South East Queensland, frequent travel to all our locations is required, and thus a hybrid on site / work from home environment is offered.Please include a cover letter with your application, and any written references, along with your updated resume.
