We're seeking a creative Video Editor to help us produce high-quality content for our YouTube channel and social platforms. This contractor role is ongoing with a consistent weekly rhythm, editing long-form software tutorials and shortform clips, with the opportunity to grow as our content flywheel scales.Who is Insert Frame?We're a fast-growing startup building products & education for web designers. Our products are loved by 10,000+ marketers & designers worldwide We're looking to take our video content to the next level and need your helpWhat you'll be working onEditing long-form YouTube tutorials (educational, design/tutorial style).Cutting down and formatting shortform clips (YouTube Shorts, Instagram, TikTok).Adding captions, transitions, and overlays that enhance clarity and engagement.Collaborating with the producer and designer to integrate thumbnails, B-roll, and supporting visuals.Uploading edits to for review and implementing feedback quickly.Delivering final exports optimized for YouTube and shortform platforms.What you can expectWork closely with our (Founder), and the Insert Frame creative team.Can follow a clear weekly workflowFlexibility to work remote with in-office collaboration (Brunswick).Autonomy and trust in how you approach editing, while staying consistent with our brand style.What you needStrong experience editing educational/tutorial content for YouTube.Understanding of YouTube pacing, hooks, and storytelling.Proficiency in editing software (We use ).Experience repurposing longform content into engaging shorts.Clear communication skills and ability to stick to a weekly content cycle.A creative, problem-solving mindset and eye for detail.Our valuesImpact > Profit: We're here to make a lasting impact in the design industry.Always Day 1: Stay agile, stay scrappy.Playground Etiquette: Keep it fun and respectful.Bonus pointsExperience with motion graphics and captions.Familiarity with the web design / Framer niche.Interest in internet startups or content creation.A side hustle or personal creative project you're passionate about.Job type: Contract (ongoing weekly work)Benefits:Work from home flexibilityDirect creative input into a fast-growing YouTube channelJob Type: Part-timePay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hourExpected hours: 16 per weekWork Authorisation:Australia (Preferred)Work Location: Hybrid remote in Brunswick VIC 3056
