About the role

Global have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Truck Driver to join our team. This role is based on-site, working a FIFO rotational roster (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster).

As a Multi Combination Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of pipeline and lease construction projects throughout the Cooper Basin region. Your key responsibilities in this role include: 

  • Transportation of various plant, equipment & materials to and from sites
  • Skilful operation of double and triple road trains.
  • Safe loading / unloading and security of freight.
  • Loading/ unloading and transportation of earthmoving equipment, such equipment includes Excavators/ Graders/ Trenchers etc.
  • Transporting water, linepipe, machinery, and general freight within the Cooper Basin with precision and care.
  • Efficiently and effectively provide logistical support in accordance with agreed schedules and specifications.
  • Delivery of plant, equipment & materials undamaged.
  • Perform daily routine checks, maintenance and troubleshooting of vehicles/equipment.
  • Actively participate in hazard identification and control.
  • Long Haul runs available East to West.


Skills And Experiences

About You

  • Prior experience working and driving heavy vehicles in remote or rural locations.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of general vehicle maintenance.
  • Construction White Card will be a mandatory requirement of the role.
  • Current open MC heavy vehicle license.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Mechanical knowledge of trucks and trailers.
  • Experience loading Excavator, Grader, and Dozer (desirable).
  • Understanding of and commitment to Safe Work Practices.
  • Strong independent work ethic.
  • A meticulous approach to equipment care.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • The ability to adapt to challenging road conditions daily.
