About the role

LIFT (Lifestyle Individual Fitness Training) is seeking a passionate and experienced Strength & Conditioning Coach to join our team in Hervey Bay, Queensland. As a casual role with full-time hours, this position offers an exciting opportunity to work with our clients and athletes, helping them achieve their fitness goals through tailored strength and conditioning programs.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing and implementing individualised strength and conditioning programs for our clients based on their unique needs and goals
  • Providing expert guidance and coaching to clients during their training sessions
  • Monitoring client progress and adjusting programs as needed to ensure continued success
  • Maintaining a safe and motivating team training environment
  • Collaborating with the wider LIFT team to deliver an exceptional client experience

What we're looking for

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Exercise Science, Sports Science or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Strength & Conditioning Coach, preferably in a fitness or sports performance setting
  • Excellent knowledge of anatomy, physiology and biomechanics as they relate to strength and conditioning
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively motivate and guide clients
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Passion for health, fitness and helping others achieve their goals
