About the role

We are seeking part-time/full-time Catering Assistants to join the kitchen team in our client's aged care facility located in Marsfield, NSW.

  • Multiple afternoons shift across Monday to Sunday.

  • Rotating roaster, availability at least 5 days a week including weekend.

  • Weekend and Public Holidays Loading apply.

* The successful applicant must have received at least 2 doses of the COVID-19 Vaccine and provide a current Police check or be willing to apply for one. *

Skills and experience

  • Aged Care experience is desirable, but not necessary.

  • Reliable and punctual

  • Ability to multi-task and perform work within deadlines.

  • Empathy and respect towards aged care residents, staff and clients.

  • The ability to support the chefs and the team in a busy kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing meal service to elderly residents

  • Cleaning of kitchen, serveries and dining room set up.

  • Adhering to and completing quality assurance documents

  • Washing dishes and plating of meals

  • Preparing salads and sandwiches in the main kitchen

  • Function set up and clear down.

  • Assist the Chef and Chef Manager as required in day-to-day tasks.

  • Food and beverage service
