Role Description

This is a full-time Contracts Manager position located on-site in the South-East Melbourne Area. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire bid process and leading the Bid team, development of value propositions and strategies for competitive bids, review and analysis contracts and tender documents. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing contractual terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. The role also involves monitoring contract performance and resolving any issues that arise.

Qualifications

  • Experience in contract management, bid preparation, and procurement processes within the defence manufacturing sector
  • Knowledge of legal requirements and regulations related to contracts
  • Eligibility for Defence Security Clearance and EAR / ITAR Clearance
  • Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO9001 standards is preferable
  • Experience in leading bid submissions for B-2-B and government tenders
  • Management and commercial experience in bids or projects in an electronics/manufacturing is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational and document management skills
  • Proficiency in using contract management software and tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or related field
