About the role

WA Limestone is seeking a skilled and experienced Excavator Operator to operate a CAT 395 at our Wilga Quarry in Port Hedland. Applicants must be experienced in this practice and will be required to go straight into this role.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Recent experience in operating excavators 95ton
  • Ability to load dump trucks/semi tippers
  • Proficiency with Load Rite/Scales system is ESSENTIAL.
  • Experience in feeding crushers and screens
  • Recent experience operating other machinery will be highly regarded.

Other requirements

  • Strong safety awareness and strong commitment to workplace safety and working effectively within a team environment.
  • Will work autonomously unsupervised in a team environment.
  • MUST pass full medical check.
  • Competent and qualified to operate Komatsu/CAT/Liebherr Excavators
  • Hold a valid WA Drivers Licence
  • MUST have relevant Australian recognised tickets.
  • A "Can Do" attitude to Working Safely.
  • Ability to align to WA Limestone company values.
