ABOUT ITM

ITM are a prominent importer and wholesaler of a wide range of tools and equipment to the retail tool industry Australia wide, distributing many market leading industrial tool brands such as - ITM, Holemaker, Multitool,  M7, Teng, Drill Doctor, Worksharp, Star, Macc, Darex, NPK and Groz.

We are a fully Australian owned company of 30+ years with our national head office located in Stapylton, Queensland. Our new, purpose-built building is a first class facility which allows us to operate comfortably and efficiently. 

ITM has experienced very strong growth recently thanks to our high achieving team, where we have grown both our product range and also our customer base, with many exciting new things still ahead.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Work along side our General Manager and Customer Service team to successfully serve our national customer basis via phone and email. These tasks include:

  • Handling incoming sales calls from our network of distributors including Retail Tool Shops, Hardware Stores, Automotive Retailers and Industrial Distributors.
  • Become a product expert in the Industrial Tool segment and give product advise to our customers.
  • Providing product availability pricing, and order status information to customers as requested.
  • Completing high value and complex sales of specialised machinery from start to finish.
  • Continued opportunity for development and career progression for the right candidate.

ABOUT YOU

  • Industry experience and product knowledge of tools & machinery is required for this role to allow you to quickly become an expert in the tools and machinery that we specialise in.
  • Possess a combination of strong and effective communication skills, strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Intelligent and able to make good decisions quickly and accurately.
  • Highly motivated and able to keep up with a hard working and fast paced team.
  • An emphasis on always achieving excellent customer service.
  • Proficiency with computers and email.
  • Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.

The position is Full Time, Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm.
