PLI (Powerlift Industries) is a Karratha, Pilbara based leading service provider in the Mining and Resource industries, an expanding business.

THE OPPORTUNITY

PLI are seeking experienced Crane Operators to join the Rio Tinto Cranes and Transport Department, Cape Lambert, for an immediate commencement on a 4:4:5 shift roster, at Cape Lambert.

This is a local position and candidates will need to reside in Karratha, Dampier or surrounding areas. Employees are required to stay at camp during their swing with accommodation and meals provided.

ABOUT YOU

  • Min 5 years' experience as a CO with experience in Liebherr, Tadano Grove, All Terrain Cranes
  • Min 5 years' experience in a mining / resources industry will be highly regarded
  • Able to work autonomously as well in a team
  • Able to follow instructions and show initiative
  • Ensure that the highest Safety Standards are met for the yard and its employees
  • Focused on maintaining a clean and safe working environment as well as continuous improvement and conducting all work in accordance with quality and ISO standards
  • Safety and process-focused, and willing to input and continually improve the process

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proof of right to work in Australia (mandatory)
  • Current Australian (HR) Drivers Licence (mandatory)
  • Valid High Risk Work Licence (mandatory)
  • Minimum RI and CO qualification (mandatory)
  • WAH (highly desirable)
  • Demonstrate First Fire Attack (mandatory)
  • White Card (mandatory)
  • Rio Tinto Inductions (highly desired)
  • Ability to gain access to Rio Tinto sites (mandatory)
  • Excellent attitude to safety
  • Flexible attitude to work within all our crews and to assist with other duties outside your scope
  • Successful applicant is required to pass a pre-employment medical assessment including a drug and alcohol screening test.
