Algorythmos is looking to connect with a
JORC-certified professional
who has a solid
geological background and hands-on mining experience
. You might be an engineer, geologist, consultant, resource analyst… we're open to different profiles as long as you bring the right mix of
technical depth, field experience, and JORC reporting competence
.

Role Description


• Demonstrated mining or exploration experience


• Strong background in geology, resource modelling, or mine engineering


• Valid experience with
JORC Code
compliance, reporting, interpretation, or audit


• Ability to work independently under a contract arrangement


• Clear communication and professionalism (you'll be interfacing with clients)


• Exposure to data analysis, modelling, or technical reporting tools


• Experience across commodities such as gold, lithium, coal, iron ore, copper, and rare earths


• Prior consulting or technical advisory exposure



Willingness to provide JORC orientation or guidance
to internal teams or clients when required

What the role involves

This is a
contract-based engagement
, flexible hours, with opportunities to support


• JORC compliance reviews


• Geological and mineral resource assessments


• Technical documentation and client reporting


• Advisory input for mining-sector AI and data initiatives (optional depending on your background)

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating complex geological data and interpreting results.
  • Experience in Contract Negotiation, Contractual Agreements, and Contract Management related to exploration projects and compliance.
  • Excellent Communication skills to articulate findings clearly to various stakeholders and teams.
  • Technical proficiency in geological modeling software and tools is essential.
  • Prior mining sector experience and JORC-certification are mandatory qualifications.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Proven ability to work on-site and collaborate with diverse teams to meet project goals efficiently.
