Are you looking to lead the delivery of complex control systems and electrical engineering projects in a professional, dynamic environment? Intellect Systems is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Project Delivery team in Perth on a full-time basis. This is a key client-facing role responsible for managing the successful delivery of projects that drive client satisfaction, repeat business, and company growth. Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for managing control systems and electrical engineering projects within the mining sector. This role oversees the full lifecycle of project delivery — ensuring scope, budget, and schedule compliance while maintaining safety, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.

About the Role

  • Managing project scope, budget, schedule, and resources to ensure successful delivery
  • Implementing engineering programs, activities, milestones, and staff requirements
  • Leading multidisciplinary project teams and ensuring deliverables meet company and client standards
  • Overseeing procurement, contractor management, and vendor coordination
  • Developing project documentation including Management Plans, Schedules, Scopes of Work, and Functional Specifications
  • Managing risk through Safety in Design and proactive mitigation strategies
  • Supporting proposal development, tender packages, pre-sales estimates, and scope changes
  • Monitoring and reporting on project performance, including cost control and progress tracking
  • Maintaining strong client relationships and clear communication with stakeholders
  • Contributing to performance reviews, training, and development of engineering staff

About You

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Control Systems Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years' engineering experience, including 10 years in project delivery
  • Demonstrated experience managing engineering projects in the mining sector
  • Strong understanding of control system design, implementation, and lifecycle management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing budgets, schedules, and quality standards
