We are seeking a hands-on, multi-skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team. This role involves working in a manufacturing environment to build and modify small steel structures and wood structures, operate general workshop power tools, and support light technical/electronic work.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Manufacture, assemble, and modify small steel structures/brackets for our security products
  • Operate and maintain handheld and workshop power tools safely
  • Assist with light electronic tasks as required
  • Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and production standards
  • Operate a forklift for material handling if holding a licence (preferable)

Skills and requirements:

  • Proficient in safe operation of handheld power tools
  • Experience in fabrication with steel and timber
  • Basic electronic knowledge
  • Current Forklift Licence is desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to obtain a security licence 

    Requires a National Police Check, fingerprints and proof of identity documents. You need to be an Australian/New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a visa to work in Australia (not including student or working holiday visa).
